Insights from the CHASE project

Overview

Chase is an entitative to uphold freedom of expression, and protect the rights of journalists and publishers around the world to operate independent media.

The Memory Makers Project is deeply committed to fostering inclusive, democratic societies by empowering young people to actively combat hate speech in all its forms. The Memory Makers project mission is closely aligned with our collaborative efforts in “Towards a Comprehensive Mechanism to Tackle Online Gender-Based Hate Speech, in the Service of Online Media.” By connecting them, we strengthen a holistic approach that not only empowers youth as key agents of change but also addresses the specific challenges of gender-based abuse in digital spaces. Together, these efforts contribute to a safer, more inclusive online environment where diversity is celebrated, voices are protected, and hate has no place.
