Our project aims to empower young individuals to learn and share historical narratives in innovative ways. Via a programme of ten events over 20 months, we will bring together at least 800 people to explore and amplify lesser-known historical and Holocaust narratives affecting LGBTQ+ individuals, disabled people, and Roma Gypsies, that are often overlooked in mainstream history discussions.
By focusing on these neglected narratives, Memory Makers seeks to foster a deeper, more comprehensive understanding of the past and its profound impact on our present.
Memory Makers champions the importance of diversity in historical recognition, ensuring that all voices, no matter how silent they have been through the ages, are heard and valued.
