This webinar, as part of the Memory Makers project (CERV-2024-CITIZENS-REM), aims to provide young people with the knowledge and tools to explore modern ways of preserving and sharing historical narratives on WWII and the Holocaust. Through case studies, live demonstrations, and open dialogue, researchers, archivists, academics, educators, and storytellers will provide participants with an understanding of how digital archives are built and organized. They will also cover methods for recording and preserving WWII narratives using multimedia formats, unexpected storytelling formats (such as visual art, graphic narratives, and short-form media), tools and frameworks for digital storytelling and their application in educational programs, as well as innovative ways to connect the public with historical narratives in the digital era.
