Why it Matters

In a world where hate speech spreads rapidly and fuels division, young people play a vital role in shaping how societies respond to discrimination and injustice. This webinar series empowers participants to engage youth in understanding and countering online hate speech by examining its historical roots and the lasting impact of discrimination. By combining digital activism with inclusive dialogue, the series equips participants to foster resilience, respect, and solidarity. It matters because combating hate speech is not only about challenging harmful words—it is about amplifying marginalized voices, building empathy, and inspiring collective action for a more just and inclusive future.
