Youth Symposium on Historical Narratives and Human Rights
Overview
European Centre for Human Rights organised this symposium to help young people become storytellers, educators, and advocates for justice. Learning from the past to create change in the present is essential in projecting a new historical narrative.
The Youth Symposium on Historical Narratives and Human Rights brought together young participants from across Europe for powerful days of dialogue, reflection, and action. Our venues in Strasbourg, created an immersive symposium that explored how historical memory can shape our understanding of current human rights challenges, including antisemitism and hate-based violence. We hope that you will absorb ways to teach others historical remembrance and be empowered to include all groups affected by the Holocaust.
